It is important to capture great images to work with, so please send us photos with as much information for Chris to draw from to create an optimal fine detail drawing
Examples of Chris’s fine detailed work can be seen below and may give you some ideas for your drawing.
The following are some ideas for the photographs that you should provide as a reference
Drawings are based on a montage of photos from different perspectives e.g. Homestead/woolsheds/buildings viewed from various angles plus some close ups.
Include items in the shed/ property that are important to you.
Please provide multiple images of your dog’s/sheep/surrounding vegetation/landscape etc.
The photo of your working dog needs to be at eye level and try not looking down at the dog from above.
Ensure the images is of good resolution with minimal shadows.
Chris will do a small draft of the montage before he starts your drawing. We will send this to you to make sure this is what you want. This is a small version as it helps placement of things within the montage.
Chris can work up to 300 hours on your drawing so these steps are important to achieve the composition you want.
